Home Inspection Forms Free Download
One of the most common tasks an auto mechanic has to perform on a daily basis is car inspections. From quick oil change inspections and full pre-purchase inspection on used cars, 60 points dealer inspections to pre-delivery inspections and even inspections on cars for title loans. If you work in a car dealership, you have plenty of those professionally designed vehicle inspection forms already at your disposal but if you work in a small repair shop it gets a little more complicated. You either have the choice to buy full custom inspections forms from professional printing services or some car inspection forms app. But these tend to be a bit expensive, especially for smaller auto repair shops. What you could do then, is trying to find free generic vehicle inspection checklists on the web. Sadly, these are often too generic or a bit out-of-date with sections for carburetors or spark plug wires inspection (which we rarely need these days). So after being frustrated trying to find suitable free forms that I could really use on the job, I decided to create my own and, of course, to share them with you.

Quick Inspection Form
This one is for quick inspections performed during oil changes (typically, A-services for most car manufacturers). Customers really like being able to visually see what their car looks like and it helps them visualize what they will have to fix next and how quickly it needs to get fixed. It also serves as a reminder (we all know too well that customers tend to forget what we advise them to do) and worth mentioning, it makes you look way more professional and all that for free!
Medium Inspection Form
This one is for bigger inspections like the ones you perform with brake, coolant, or transmission fluid services (B-services for most manufacturers with A, B, C scheduled services). You can still use it for quick oil changes since it’s pretty concise but it does require you to remove the wheels to check the brakes. I personally use these forms the most.
Full Inspection Form
These are for more thorough inspections like pre-purchase inspections.
