Tetris Worlds download free. full Game is a version of the popular video gameTetris. Originally released in 2001 forPC and the GBA, it later was released for theXbox,GameCube, and PlayStation 2 in 2002. In 2003, anXbox Live capable and a single-disc compilation versions (which included this game and Star Wars: The Clone Wars) was released for the Xbox. The platform-specific versions of Tetris Worlds were developed by three different companies. Story

The Tetrions

“There are many theories as to the origin of the Tetrions. The simple truth is that the Tetrions are the only evidence of a long since forgotten space-faring species. We have called the gate opening activity Tetris. And while it is the key to connecting us to distant worlds, Tetris has been found to be very addictive by all intelligent species.”

The Minos

“The Minos are a species found on the planet called Hadar 4. They are a robust mechanical species. It is possible that they were first built by organics, as is the case with most mechanics. Minos are intelligent and have just unlocked the secrets of the Tetrions. They now know that manipulating the Blocks in a certain way will turn a Tetrion into an interstellar transportation device. The Mission

“The mission is to evacuate the Minos on Hadar 4 to six other planets that have been identified as suitable for terraforming. Mino scientists have discovered that their star (Hadar) has become unstable and as a result the surface of Hadar 4 will reach 5000kelvins, which is well past the maximumoperating temperature of the Minos. The best Mino Tetris players have been identified as the gate openers. Six Tetrinauts will be sent to the planets to open the Tetrion gates from the other side to facilitate the exodus.”

Gameplay

Gameplay consists of normal Tetris games. However, there are several game modes, tweaking the way the game works.

The player can send their Mino Tetrinaut to six different worlds, where he/she plays the Tetris variant of that world. When the player plays enough of that world, more Minos are rescued. Arcade mode

This mode is where the player plays two-minute Tetris games of any variant. This is also where multiplayer games are played. The Arcade mode variants are listed as follows:

• Tetris: «Go for a Tetris». A normal Tetris game, where the player plays until he/she loses. Losses occur when the Tetriminos reach the top.
• Square Tetris: «Go for a Square». While the player plays Tetris, they also must try to combine Tetriminos into squares. Lines cleared containing 4×4 Tetriminos cause large bonuses.
• Cascade Tetris: «Go for a Cascade».The player must try to clear lines that cause Cascades. Cascades occur when a cleared line cause other Blocks to fall and clear another line.
• Sticky Tetris: «Clear the Bottom Line». Players must try to clear the bottom line of «Garbage Blocks». Same-colored Blocks stick together in this mode, hence the name. If 25 same-colored blocks connect, a Critical Mass is formed and are cleared from the Matrix.
• Hot-Line Tetris: «Go for a Hot-Line». In this mode, there are six «Hot-Lines» in the Matrix. The player must try to clear lines that are on the Hot-Line. Lines cleared anywhere else earn no points.
• Fusion Tetris: «Activate the Atom Blocks». In this mode, there is a «Fusion Block» at the bottom of the Matrix. Players must try to connect falling «Atom Blocks» to the Fusion Blocks. Atom and Fusion Blocks are not cleared in line clears, and clearing a line containing an Atom or Fusion Block causes a Cascade.
• Popular Tetris (GBA Version Only): In this hidden mode the game is set up the way the original Tetris game was. The player clears lines to score points and after every 10 lines the level goes up. Scoring increases on higher levels and there is no time limit; however, this mode stops keeping score once a player reaches 1 trillion (which is more than 999999, the maximum score on the Game Boy version).

Reception

While Tetris Worlds did receive some good reviews, it generally received mediocre and negative reviews.

In the PS2, PC, and GBA versions, gameplay contained one major difference from a normal Tetris game. In classic Tetris, when a Tetrimino touches the bottom of the screen, it locks in place. However, in these versions, the Tetrimino does not lock until the player makes it lock, allowing him/her to rotate and move the piece until the player liked it the way it was. Critics said that this made the game too easy and GameSpot said that it «broke Tetris». However, the GBA version features a hidden version of classic Tetris (titled «Popular» Tetris) that plays without this feature. It is accessed by holding the L button and pressing select on the «Marathon» game select menu. However, since it is not part of the «Default» presentation, many reviews did not factor in this mode.

The silent system monitor known simply as Anon runs through the computer world of TRON: Evolution like a leather-and-neon-clad Prince of Persia, smoothly defying gravity in a digital display of free running. This movie tie-in title, too, shows some deft touches, mixing up extended sequences of wall jumping and chasm leaping with combat that’s appealing if a little simplistic. It doesn’t quite have the gameplay or visual variety to battle off feelings of repetitiveness, but for the most part, TRON: Evolution is a smooth ride through one of science fiction’s best known worlds.

TRON: Evolution doesn’t tell the story of the new film, TRON: Legacy, but instead, it acts as a prequel, bridging the narrative gap between the original film and its sequel. The hero of the first movie–Kevin Flynn–now lives full time inside the computer world of the Grid, and it’s a rocky time for him and the Grid’s digital dudes. A new form of sentient life has appeared–the Isos–and many existing programs are distrustful of the new race. An aggressive virus led by the villain Abraxas is also sweeping the world, turning both programs and Isos alike into nasty, green-tinted creatures with an unexplained penchant for dreadlocks. You play through this corrupted code base as Flynn’s trusted system monitor Anon, a completely silent avatar that lets his acrobatic moves and light disc carry him through most conversations. As a mute protagonist, Anon doesn’t do much to pull you into the story of TRON: Evolution, and the narrative itself isn’t that intriguing. Fans of the TRON universe, though, will get a kick out of references to the original film, and all of the voice actors (including an impressive Jeff Bridges sound-alike) do a good job of bringing the Grid to life.

Anon’s only real expression in the game is through his actions, and when it comes to movement, Anon has a wide vocabulary. The system monitor is extremely nimble, and tight controls make it easy for you to take him on extended acrobatic runs along walls, over environmental hazards, and across wide gaps. The controls do a good job of making you feel like you’re in charge of Anon’s every movement, and when you do miss a jump or a ledge, you always feel like it’s due to your own lack of skill rather than any control failing. That said, the challenge here isn’t particularly hefty; there’s never any confusion about which path to take as its clearly delineated via conveniently placed markers, the puzzles are all rather basic (find all the not-at-all hard to find switches to open a door), and there are only a few truly difficult platforming sections to clear. Even the tough sections won’t bother most, thanks to TRON: Evolution’s extremely generous checkpoint system. A mistimed jump usually results in instant death in the Grid, but frustration never gets a chance to set in because you’re only a few leaps away from a save.
