Aquascapes is a classic hidden object game; you look for named objects in a scene within a time limit. In this game the time limit cannot be controlled or set. If you don't make it, you just get fewer points and the game moves on. There are no do-overs. There are also no usual side games; you go from one scene to the next. The only side show is building an aquarium. You can buy one using the coins and shells you earn from playing the regular hidden object scenes. Each one can be populated by a variety of fish, decorations, coral etc. As you spend more money on the aquarium it is awarded cups to a limit of three; after that you can keep putting decorative stuff in there except fish. So you will decide to buy a new one at this point. You can buy as many new aquariums as you like but they only become available as you progress. As far as I can tell the game has no end. You can keep playing on and on and it keeps generating new pages to search. However, there are only a few unique pages and objects that keep repeating and after a while the objects you are searching for also keep repeating and the game becomes more or less redundant and you get bored. That takes quite a while and hours of enjoyable game playing. This is made even more interesting because the graphics are excellent and the fish are well animated.
